Love Story
How did you meet your significant other?
College!! We both attended Bowling Green State University and met my junior year/his senior year.
How did you get engaged? Who proposed to who?
My husband proposed on the same day as my college graduation. He was living in Florida at the time and we had been doing long distance for about a year. He surprised me by flying home and attending my graduation. I’m gullible so when he told me he wasn’t proposing that weekend, I believed him. We went to a park in Bowling Green, OH and there was a beautiful set up at a small pavilion. As soon as I was that, the tears immediately started. I was so excited that I got to marry my best friend.
Special Wedding Moments
What are your favorite memories from your wedding day?
While the whole day was perfect, my favorite memory was getting to the end of the aisle and just seeing my husband with tears in his eyes. It was beautiful having everyone we love surrounding us and witnessing this next chapter in our life.
Advice For Future Brides
What is one piece of advice you can offer to other brides that are starting their wedding dress shopping experience?
You will 100% know when you found THE dress. Make sure you try on bridal accessories for the full effect! As soon as I had a veil on, all of the emotions hit me!
How was your experience with us at TWIRL Bride?
AMAZING!! Lauryn was my bridal stylist and she made my experience all around perfect. All of the dress I tried on were gorgeous but as soon as I put my dress on, I knew it was the one! The environment was beautiful and the staff was so kind!
