How did you meet your significant other?
“At a chiropractor’s office!.”
How did you get engaged? Who proposed to who?
“John had help from Lindsey Berger, a photographer friend. They came up with a brilliant plan and I had no idea it was happening! For one of the photos she had us stand back to back, when I turn around he was on one knee. He could barely get a word in edgewise.. I just continued saying yes!”
Special Wedding Moments
What are your favorite memories from your wedding day?
“Our private vows. That moment of us sharing how much we love and meant to each other is everything and more.
When we saw each other for the first time.. the doors opened and I will never ever forget John’s sweet reaction. He couldn’t hold back tears.
Our first dance. And song choice.. Biblical by Callum Scott. If you haven’t ever heard it.. go listen to it now!!!
My brother and I’s sibling dance to My Wish by Rascal Flatts.. a song my late father loved. We asked that other siblings join us on the dance floor. We were all singing, laughing and crying. It was such a special moment honoring my dad and the special bond of family.
Having my mom help me get ready.. having her button my dress, help me put on my jewelry and shoes. It was such a special moment.”
Advice For Future Brides
What is one piece of advice you can offer to other brides that are starting their wedding dress shopping experience?
“I have two… Decide on your priorities and expect the unexpected.”
