How did you get engaged? Who proposed to who?
Christopher took me to Virginia to visit my best friend (who ended up being MOH) and for me to see the ocean for the first time. Him and my best friend planned a beach proposal. Christopher got down on one knee next to the ocean after asking for my father’s blessing before the trip. When I said yes all the beach goers nearby cheered and clapped. It was so romantic and perfectly planned.
Special Wedding Moments
What are your favorite memories from your wedding day?
The butterflies right before walking down the aisle… and then the look on my husband’s face as he seen me coming by down the aisle. He was so handsome in his suit. We had a small ceremony and reception I loved that we were able to just soak up every second of each other that day.
Advice For Future Brides
What is one piece of advice you can offer to other brides that are starting their wedding dress shopping experience?
Do not rush picking your dress. You will get the most wonderful, overwhelming feeling know when you found the one. The moment will be so beautiful, you will just know.

My experience at Twirl was everything I could have asked for when it came to finding my dream wedding dress. The ladies I worked with were absolutely wonderful. They made me feel so relaxed and comfortable about the whole experience. They reassured me I was in charge of the whole process when it came to deciding on “the dress” no matter what, which was comforting. All of my bridal party was able to attend when I tried on dresses along with my mother and flower girl and that was very meaningful to me. My mother and bridal party also bought their dresses through TWIRL and this made everything so simple! We were able to easily match up colors and it assured we were able to get the same style of dress in any size we needed for any of the girls. The men also rented their suits here. We couldn’t recommend TWIRL enough. They are professional, kind, trustworthy, and reliable.
