Real Bride Feature – Natalie Furnas

How did you meet your significant other?

We met living at the same apartment complex in Hilliard, OH. We both played sand volleyball there and met through that and mutual friends. 

Who proposed to who? How did the engagement happen?

We were vacationing in Asheville North Carolina and he picked a winery to stop at on our way from Greenville to Asheville. He had coordinated with a photographer beforehand (which I did not know obviously) and proposed at the winery (and got some nice photos!)

What are some of your favorite memories/moments from your wedding day?

Our unity ceremony where we blended 2 beers together having all of our family and friends in the same place to celebrate with us, and just the day in general and how pretty everything turned out. We had a perfect 80 degree sunny day in April which was unexpected!

How did you feel on your wedding day, especially in your dream wedding dress!?

Everything went so fast but was so great on my wedding day. I LOVED my dress and received so many compliments on it. Everything came together so nicely with hair, makeup and the dress. My dress was also super comfy!

How was your experience with TWIRL?

I loved my experience at Twirl! I had been to two places before coming to twirl and liked the general “vibe” of Twirl the best. It seemed more relaxed than the others and they allowed us to look through the racks ourselves and pull dresses to try on. Everything was laid back and fun and we ended up finding the perfect dress!
